Objectives
The High School’s curriculum (grades 9-12) must
be well-defined, meet the State of Florida high school
minimum academic requirements and be designed so as to
train and equip students to become contributing citizens
of God’s kingdom.

Program Standards
| 20.2.1 |
CSF recognizes two academic programs: (1)
a college preparatory program; and (2) a general
program. The college preparatory program must
be academically demanding in depth and scope
so as to prepare graduates with the knowledge,
skills, and independence necessary to successfully
pursue advanced learning at the college/university
level. Both programs must be taught from a
distinctly Christian viewpoint, integrating
faith to learning.

CSF schools are authorized to establish requirements
for high school graduation in excess of following
minimum requirements. |

The 24 minimum academic requirements as stated
in the Course Code Directory published
by the Florida Department of Education must
include:

3 Social Studies and History
4 English
3 Science (two with laboratory)
3 Mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II)
2 Foreign language (through second level of the same language required for
college preparatory program)
½ Life Management Skills
1 Practical Arts or Performing Arts
1 Physical Education
1 Computer Education
1 ½ - 3 ½ Electives |

Graduates must have cumulative 2.0 GPA for
courses required for high school graduation. |

Elective courses must be organized, planned,
and conducted with the same validity as the
other academic courses. |

Activities vital to the growth and development
of the secondary students must be evident.
Activities are to be balanced with a fair share
for girls and boys. The school must offer at
least one activity in each of the following
co-curricular areas:

Use of the library/media center for research,
independent reading, and study must be evident.

Instruction in computer technology and integration

Science and other laboratories must be furnished
and equipped. Labs must comply with local and
state codes for health and safety (eg, showers
in chemistry labs, safe storage of hazardous
chemicals, etc.)
